Discover Avila, World Heritage Site

The Hotel II Castillas Ávila is located at the entrance to Ávila, opposite the Police Academy, next to the city’s most dynamic shopping area. Its location allows you quick and easy access to both the city centre and the industrial estates.

Cathedral of Avila

The Cathedral of El Salvador in Avila, a unique blend of gothic art and defensive fortress, stands next to the walls as one of the most important temples in Spain. Its construction began in the 12th century and stands out for integrating part of its structure into the walls themselves, creating a unique monumental complex.

Walls of Avila

The Walls of Avila are the undisputed symbol of the city: an impressive medieval fortification that surrounds the historic center with more than 2.5 km of extension, 88 towers and nine monumental gates. You can walk along its walkways and enjoy panoramic views over rooftops and Castilian plains that evoke centuries of history.
